Filmique is a cinematic travel film experience designed to document your time and experience in a place. Rather than posed shots or scripted moments, Filmique focuses on atmosphere, movement, and presence, creating a short film that feels personal and timeless.

Not at all. Filmique experiences are intentionally low-direction. You won’t be asked to perform, pose, or “do things for the camera.” Most clients forget the camera is even there after a few minutes.

Depending on the location and experience you select, sessions can last anywhere from 90 minutes to several hours. Filming often unfolds during a walk, a shared activity, or a single meaningful location.

Filmique experiences currently take place in New York City, including neighborhoods, parks, waterfronts, and public interior spaces. Locations can be suggested by you or collaboratively curated based on light, pacing, and time of day.

Wear something that feels like you. Neutral tones and simple textures tend to work best on camera, but comfort and authenticity matter far more than styling. A quick guide will be provided after booking.

Absolutely. Filmique films are created to be shared — whether privately with loved ones or publicly on social platforms. Clients retain full personal usage rights to their film. Filmique may feature selected excerpts on its website or social media channels for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

No. Filmique is a film experience, not a photoshoot. While a photographer may occasionally be present to capture supplemental imagery, photography is not the primary focus and is used solely to enhance the final film. The experience centers on movement, rhythm, and cinematic storytelling, with still frames available upon request.
